The idea
Background
A problem statement which started when there was requirement for oil filling machine that is based on weight measurement. There are many industrial solutions available in the market which are based on volume based and cost in range of 10-20 Lakhs and are precise. This problem statement arised when small oil manufacturing company owned by my uncle wanted to deliver oil in bottles based on weight measurement in front of customer.
I had small idea of taking weight in real time and comparing with the weight to density ratio and controlling a solenoid valve which fills the bottles. I started with a weighing scale which had a RS232 communication port and interfaced with RS232 to TTL converter with the help of Arduino mega.
